RESUMO Este estudo de caso qualitativo objetiva investigar o processo de construção de conhecimento entre um professor em formação continuada e uma professora universitária a partir da mediação dialogada em sessões reflexivas, da escrita de um diário pessoal e de informações provenientes de dois planos de aula. Utilizamos pressupostos da formação docente na perspectiva sociocultural para analisar, de forma situada e contextual, dois momentos em que o professor em formação continuada modificou sua prática devido à mediação dialogada à qual teve acesso. A análise do material empírico permite observar a importância de considerar a formação de professores/as como distribuída entre pessoas e ferramentas, além de evidenciar a significância de momentos formais e informais na construção de conhecimento relevante para o professor em formação, especialmente por meio da mediação estratégica e do diálogo colaborativo.

ABSTRACT This qualitative case study aims to investigate the process of knowledge construction between an in-service teacher and a university professor by focusing on dialogic mediation in reflective sessions, a personal diary, and information from two lesson plans. We draw on teacher education studies from a sociocultural perspective to analyze, in a contextual and situated way, two moments when the in-service teacher changed his teaching practice due to dialogic mediation to which he had access. The analysis of the empirical material allowed us to observe the importance of considering teacher education as distributed across people and tools, besides showing the significance of formal and informal moments in the construction of relevant knowledge for the teacher, especially through strategic mediation and collaborative dialogue.

RESUMO Nosso objetivo é discutir perspectivas decoloniais e, principalmente, pós-humanistas, conforme nos engajamos em um diálogo interepistêmico, que engloba discussões sobre a matéria e a língua/linguagem. Em um primeiro momento, abordamos pensamentos indígenas de forma a relacioná-los com visões de mundo decoloniais e pós-humanistas, brevemente focando em alguns argumentos concernentes a essa relação e justificamos nossas escolhas. Partimos de críticas das ideias coloniais e humanistas sobre os seres humanos, os/as outros/as não-humanos/as e sobre a matéria, e então discutimos concepções tradicionais de língua. A partir de um quadro pós-humanista, abordamos entendimentos sobre língua/linguagem que diretamente se entrelaçam com a materialidade. Com base nas problematizações que apresentamos, nossa intenção é ampliar a compreensão do que significa ser humano/a e percepções de língua/linguagem, ao passo que nos envolvemos em um projeto que busca enxergar e ir além da arrogância humana. Portanto, encorajamos uma revisão onto-epistemológica da língua, com base em seu emaranhamento com a matéria.

ABSTRACT Our objective is to discuss decolonial and, mainly, posthumanist perspectives, as we engage in an inter-epistemic dialogue, which encompasses discussions on matter and language. At first, we address Indigenous thoughts in order to relate them to decolonial and posthumanist worldviews, briefly concentrating our attention on some arguments concerning their relation, and we justify our choices. We draw on critiques of colonial and humanist ideas about humans, nonhuman others and matter, and we then discuss traditional conceptions of language. From a posthumanist framework, we approach understandings of language that directly intertwine it with materiality. Based on the problematizations we present, our aim is to expand understandings of what it means to be human and perceptions of language, as we become involved in a project that seeks to see and go beyond human hubris. Therefore, we encourage an onto-epistemological review of language, based on its entanglement with matter.

RESUMO Este estudo tem como foco as interações que cinco pares de alunos tiveram, ao realizar uma atividade de escrita colaborativa. A pesquisa foi realizada em uma escola de idiomas de Goiânia, em Goiás, no Brasil, com dez alunos de língua inglesa, em 2015. Os objetivos desta investigação são: a) observar e discutir os elementos que se destacam durante as interações dos alunos; e b) investigar as percepções desses aprendizes sobre a experiência. Este estudo é fundamentado na teoria sociocultural (DONATO, 1994; HALL, 2001; VYGOTSKY, 1978) e na aprendizagem colaborativa de línguas (FIGUEIREDO, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2015; OXFORD, 1997). Os pressupostos teóricos que norteiam esta pesquisa consideram a interação e a colaboração como elementos essenciais para o desenvolvimento da aprendizagem de línguas. Trata-se de um estudo de caso qualitativo (GODOY, 2006; TELLES, 2002), e as fontes utilizadas para a geração dos dados são questionários, gravações de áudio das interações entre os alunos e entrevistas semiestruturadas. Os elementos que se destacam nesta investigação estão relacionados às potencialidades das interações dialógicas, que fomentam o scaffolding, o apoio mútuo e a promoção da autonomia dos aprendizes. Além disso, os aprendizes destacam alguns aspectos positivos que puderam perceber a partir da experiência, como o auxílio um ao outro e a possibilidade de acessar mais ideias; como aspectos negativos, apontam as divergências e os conflitos com os quais tiveram que lidar durante as interações.

ABSTRACT The focus of this study is on the interactions five pairs of students had in order to carry out a collaborative writing activity. The research was conducted in a language school of Goiânia, in Goiás, Brazil, with ten EFL/ESL students, in 2015. The objectives of this investigation are: a) to observe and discuss the elements that stand out during the students' interactions; and b) to investigate these learners' perceptions of the experience. This study is grounded on sociocultural theory (DONATO, 1994; HALL, 2001; VYGOTSKY, 1978) and collaborative language learning (FIGUEIREDO, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2015; OXFORD, 1997). The theoretical assumptions that guide this research consider interaction and collaboration as essential elements for language learning development. This is a qualitative case study (GODOY, 2006; TELLES, 2002), and the sources used to generate the data are questionnaires, audio recordings of the students' interactions and semi-structured interviews. The elements that stand out in this investigation are related to the potentialities of dialogic interactions, which foster scaffolding, mutual support, and the promotion of learners' autonomy. In addition, the learners highlight some positive aspects they could perceive from the experience, such as each other's help and the possibility to access more ideas; as negative aspects, they point out disagreements and conflicts they had to handle during the interactions.
